From Susan Heims, Volunteer Co-ordinator at the Vets Home, this notice of special events:

On September 7, 2010 we officially opened the doors to our newly renovated Member Services Center.  We are scheduling events in Grant Hall and Lee Lounge (the contact for this is Matt Mittman at 707.944.4902 or matt.mittman@cdva.ca.gov); our Wellness Center and Library are open as well.  We are anticipating the opening of the new AAFES Base Exchange store and bowling lanes as well as our café in the near future.

On November 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. we celebrated Veterans Day with our annual Veterans Day Ceremony, preceded by a ribbon cutting and dedication of the Member Services Center.
