"Bridging veterans' needs and community resources."

The mission of the California Veterans Support Foundation (CVSF) is to promote and fund health, wellness, and preventive programs and services for veterans at the Veterans Home of California, Yountville.

The Veterans Home of California, Yountville, originally established in 1884, is one of a handful of veterans homes in the state. It is administered by the California Department of Veterans Affairs, and accepts veterans who are residents of the state of California, are 62 years old or older (or disabled), and have served in the U.S. military, receiving an honorable discharge. The Veterans Home of California, Yountville accommodates up to 1,100 residents, both men and women, who are veterans of World War II through Operation OIF/OEF.

Through its initiatives, CVSF supports the development of critical programs and services that ensure the lifelong health and wellness of all veterans in our extended community.
